She attended University of California, Davis for her undergraduate degree, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a History minor. Lisa has nearly ten years of experience working with family law litigants. She began her family law journey working in the Civil, Family, and Probate division of the Yolo County Superior Court. Her last role at Yolo County Superior Court was working at the Family Law Facilitator’s Office/Self-Help Center. There she developed significant skills working with family law litigants. At the University of San Francisco, Lisa was Vice President of the Student Bar Association, President of Family Law Society, and was a member of Pride Law. She was on the University of San Francisco’s Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition Team and participated in the University of San Francisco Mediation Clinic where she assisted small claims and family law litigants informally resolve their disputes.

During law school Lisa externed at the Family Violence Law Center in Oakland, where she helped domestic violence survivors obtain and enforce restraining orders, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, where she worked in the Sexual Assault division, and Bayview/Hunters Point Community Legal (now known as Open Door Legal), where she assisted Bayview/Hunters Point residents with consumer law issues. Lisa’s passion is assisting those that need it the most, and is dedicated to this goal.
